Hosted Sites — Terms of Service

1. What this covers

These terms cover sites you publish through Draft2Live's hosted-sites feature: any subdomain on *.draft2blog.com and any custom domain you connect to that subdomain. They sit on top of the general Draft2Live Terms of Service — if anything conflicts, this hosted-sites document wins for the specific topic of publishing.

2. Your content, your responsibility

Everything you publish through the hosted-sites feature — articles, pages, images, embeds — is your content. You own it; you are also responsible for it. That includes content you generated using Draft2Live's AI tools: AI assistance does not transfer liability to us.

By publishing, you confirm you have the right to publish each piece of content (own copyright, valid license, or a fair-use basis) and that nothing you publish violates these terms.

3. Prohibited content

You may not publish content that:

• Sexually exploits or endangers minors, in any form (including AI-generated imagery)
• Incites violence, hatred, or discrimination based on a protected characteristic
• Promotes terrorism, organised criminal activity, or otherwise breaks the law in the country where you are based
• Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or right of publicity
• Carries malware, phishing payloads, or attempts to deceive visitors (impersonation, fake brand pages, scam landing pages)
• Sells prescription pharmaceuticals, illegal drugs, weapons, or stolen credentials
• Doxxes private individuals or shares personal data without the subject's consent

Adult content that is legal where you are based may be allowed on a case-by-case basis, but never on *.draft2blog.com subdomains — only on your own custom domain, and only after you contact us. Default answer is no.

4. Moderation and suspension

Every new hosted site enters a moderation queue before it goes public. We review it within a few business days — usually under 24 hours. If it passes, the site goes live; if it doesn't, you get an email explaining what we found and how to fix it.

We can also suspend a previously approved site at any time if we receive a credible report, see automated abuse signals, or are required to act by law or a takedown notice (see below). When we suspend, you get an email with the reason. The site shows a "temporarily unavailable" page to visitors; your posts, pages, and theme stay in the database and reappear if the site is reinstated.

You can appeal a suspension by replying to that email or writing to [email protected]. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

5. DMCA and other copyright notices

Draft2Live operates as a hosting provider for user-published content and responds to valid copyright takedown notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions.

To submit a takedown notice, email [email protected] with: the original work you own, the URL of the allegedly infringing material on a Draft2Live hosted site, your contact details, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorised, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate. We will act within a reasonable time and notify the site owner.

If you believe a takedown of your content was made in error, you can file a counter-notice to the same address.

6. Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive multiple confirmed takedowns or moderation suspensions within a 12-month window may have all their hosted sites permanently removed and the underlying account terminated.

7. Visitor abuse reports

Any visitor can report a hosted site to us via the public report form. We review every report; we don't act on the report alone, but it triggers a human review.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves or as the legal landscape shifts. Substantial changes will be announced to all hosted-site owners by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is your acceptance of the new terms.
