The articles you generate in Draft2Live can be published to a site of your own here — the same way you publish them to WordPress.
How an Article Reaches the Site
- Open the article and choose Publish to site — or open the site's Posts screen and press Add article.
- Pick the site. The article appears on it within a few seconds.
- Its address, description and social image can be adjusted for this site without touching the article itself.
Articles Are Published in the Site's Main Language
An article can only be added to a site when a version of it exists in that site's main language. A Polish article cannot be the first thing published on a Ukrainian site: it has no original there, so there is nothing for the other languages to hang off, and “translate the blog” would never reach it.
The right order is: publish the original in the site's language, then translate the blog. Once that family of translations is on the site, any of them can be added too.
The Blog Feed
Articles need a blog feed page before they can be browsed. Three situations:
- The feed is published — articles appear in the list and open normally.
- There is no feed in that language — the article opens at its own address, but appears in no list. Add a feed page in that language.
- The feed is a draft — the articles under it do not open at all. Publish the feed page.
Translating the Blog
Translate blog translates every published article into another language. As with pages, each translation is saved as a draft for you to check before it goes live.
Hiding and Removing
- Hide — the article stops being visible to visitors and search engines. Reversible at any time.
- Remove — the article leaves this site. The article itself stays in your materials and can be published again later.
Sharing Automatically
A site can post every new article to a Telegram channel or a Facebook page by itself, and send an event to your own webhook. Both are set up in the site's settings.
