Site Builder: How It Works

Besides publishing to your own WordPress, Drupal or Shopify, Draft2Live can host a site for you. You build it in the dashboard, we run it — no hosting to buy, no server to maintain, no plugins to install.

What You Get

  • An address straight away — every site opens at its own name.draft2blog.com. Your own domain can be connected later.
  • A visual editor — pages are assembled from ready-made blocks: drag, fill in the text, done.
  • An AI assistant — it can build the whole site from a short brief, or rewrite a single section on request.
  • A blog — the articles you generate here can be published straight to that site.
  • Languages — one site can exist in several languages, translated by AI.
  • Analytics, forms and a custom domain — built in, nothing to install.

Where To Find It

Open Site builder in the main menu. The list shows every site you have, its status and its address. Open one and it gets its own menu: Overview, Pages, Templates, Posts, Domain, Search Console, Submissions, Webhooks and Settings.

Site Statuses

  • Deploying — the address is being set up. A few seconds.
  • In review — new sites are checked before they go public.
  • Live — publicly available.
  • Suspended — taken offline; the reason is emailed to you. Nothing is deleted.

How Many Sites

The number of sites comes from your plan. The counter sits above the list — when it runs out, upgrade the plan or delete a site you no longer need.

Sites You Build vs Sites You Connect

Do not confuse the two sections. Connecting sites is about your existing WordPress, Drupal or Shopify — we publish articles into them. Site builder is about sites that live here and that we host for you.
