WordPress: Direct API Connection

If you don't want to install a plugin, you can connect WordPress through the standard REST API.

Creating an Application Password

1. In WordPress go to: Users → Your Profile
2. Scroll down to Application Passwords
3. Enter a name (e.g., "Draft2Live") and click Add New
4. Copy the generated password

Adding a Site in Draft2Live

1. Go to Sites → Add Site
2. Type: WordPress, method: Direct API
3. Enter the site URL, login, and Application Password
4. Click Save

Direct API Limitations

• No FAQ block support (embedded in content)
• No two-way synchronization
