Forms and Submissions

A site can collect messages, orders and enquiries. The form is a block like any other, and everything visitors send lands in your dashboard.

Adding a Form

Drop the Form block onto a page — the contacts page is the usual home for it. In its settings you choose:

  • The fields — name, phone, email, a message, a dropdown. Each one can be marked as required and can be made full width.
  • The message after sending — what the visitor sees when it goes through.
  • The form name — an internal label. If a site has both a contact form and an order form, this is what tells them apart in the inbox.

Where the Submissions Go

Open Submissions in the site's menu. Each entry shows the values the visitor typed, the page it was sent from and when. New ones are marked; opening one marks it as read, and you can delete it.

Submissions are read here, in the dashboard — they are not forwarded to your email, so it is worth looking in regularly.

Spam

Forms come with protection against automated submissions, plus a cap on how many can be sent from one address per hour. There is nothing to set up.
